Life just won’t let go, which means compelling characters and stories drive John to write contemporary novels which draw readers in.  

 

Crime, extremism, politics, diversity, religion and belief and so many more themes are woven into the relationships, plots and context of his exciting, page turning writing. 

 

A one time probation officer in Birmingham and London, he later became a Church of England minister. Awarded a PhD for his understanding of race and racism by the University of Warwick he was later made an Honorary Canon by Leicester Cathedral for his work building inter faith relations. He’s worked in London, Coventry and Leicester and travelled widely to countries like Turkey, Oman, Morocco and India.  

 

Currently John lives in south west England, where he has close links with other local authors in an area which can only be called Devon’s creative hub.
